ABOUT THE EVENT

The Annual VACPS President’s Ball celebrates the achievements of Victorian Catholic Primary Principals on one of Melbourne’s grandest stages. Showcasing their commitment and contribution to education in Victoria, the IT event for Victorian Catholic primary Principals. The President’s Ball offers an opportunity for Principals to relax, mingle and celebrate each other with dignitaries from Catholic Education.
Highlights include:
- Grand ballroom
- Live music throughout the evening
- A magnificent gala three course dinner by a premier caterer, Epicure
- An exclusive wellbeing raffle
- Awards to recognise outstanding Principals
- A range of involvement opportunities for sponsors
AWARD OPPORTUNITIES
To recognise and celebrate the amazing achievements and contributions of Principals across Victoria, the VACPSP will present three awards to deserving Principals at the President’s Ball. The awards are offered to acknowledge key work and success of Principals in the fundamental pillars of quality Principalship: Education. Faith and Community.
EDUCATIONAL. LEADERSHIP
This award recognises the outstanding educational leadership in learning, leadership or school initiative implemented in a VACPSP member school. The winner of this award will have demonstrated innovation and excellence in leadership and implementation of a program, support individual and staff professional learning, engaged professional and successfully with all members of the program and have contributed to improved student learning outcomes.
FAITH LEADERSHIP
This award recognises outstanding faith leadership across the school community through an educational or professional development program or initiative implemented in a VACPSP member school. The winner of this award will have demonstrated innovation and excellence in faith leadership, supporting community and school-wide faith engagement and contributing to the faith development of students.
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
This award recognises outstanding leadership within the school community. The winner of this award will have demonstrated innovation and excellence in leadership of a community-based program, developed meaningful whole school community relationships and have contributed to improved community engagement and whole-school harmony.
