National Representation
Statewide and national.
Proud to represent Victorian Catholic Primary Principals statewide and on a national level.

With a mission to be an influence for Principals in enacting their role, national representation makes us better, together.
National acknowledgement
The VACPSP provides direct communication and representation at the national level through Australian Catholic Principals Association (ACPPA) and through that, Australian Primary Principals Association (APPA).
Seat at the Table
Michael Gray (VACPSP President) is also Deputy President of ACPPA as well as Board Member of ACPPA.
Frequent Contact
Being part of ACPPA Board involves VACPSP President and Deputy President attending national meetings across Australia multiple times a year to bring the Victorian voice to the national discussion.
The primary Principal interest is represented nationally by ACPPA (Australian Catholic Primary Principals Association) and APPA (Australian Primary Principals Association).
ACPAA represents the Catholic voice and joins together with independent and government school associations to form APPA.

National representation is central to meeting our vision of Catholic Principals leading with a strong courageous and active voice, promoting educational excellence in Catholic schools.
National representation enables:
- Victorian Principals to be connected to nationwide colleagues
- a unified approach to the mission of the Church in Catholic Primary Schools
- collaboration and professional discussion amongst Catholic School Principals across Australia
- Unified voice when liaising with relevant authorities and the opportunity to create nationwide position papers
- share resources and be involved with national initiatives to enrich the work of Victorian Catholic Primary School Principals

The VACPSP acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the many lands that encompass our Catholic primary schools across Victoria – Dioceses of Ballarat, Sale, Sandhurst and the Archdiocese of Melbourne. The VACPSP recognises the Traditional Custodians' culture and the continuing spiritual connection to land, sea and waters.
The VACPSP pays our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who live, work, teach and learn within Catholic education in Victoria.
We commit to working together to create culturally safe schools for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to learn and thrive. We commit to working together for reconciliation, justice and treaty.

VACPSP. Better, Together.
